장흥군, 지방 보조금 관리위원회 심의 개최

Jungheung County recently held a meeting of the Local Subsidy Management Committee at the County Office Situation Room to prepare for the 2026 main budget, as announced. During this meeting, 385 projects worth 17,714,663 million won were reviewed. Face-to-face reviews of each agenda were conducted by the departments, involving in-depth scrutiny of project validity, efficiency, and necessity from various perspectives. Particular emphasis was placed on reevaluating wasteful subsidies that had become a norm, taking into account the unfavorable local financial conditions. The priority was given to subsidy projects that could increase residents' benefits and contribute to the regional economy. The approved local subsidy projects will be incorporated into the 2026 main budget after being approved by the Jungheung County Council. A county official stated, "We have thoroughly reviewed the necessity and effectiveness of projects in line with the government's sound fiscal structure. We will strive to manage the finances transparently and efficiently, ensuring that local subsidies contribute substantially to improving the quality of life for our residents and stimulating the local economy."
